Crucian Coconut Festival 2022: Day 1
St. Croix Farmers in Action Inc, presents Crucian Coconut Festival 2022. The festival is in its 6th year of celebration. This year's theme is Celebrate, Hydrate, & Rejuvenate. The annual festivities is held at the Estate Bethlehem Sugar Factory. The event kicked off its celebrations on Friday evening with an opening reception of Fine Art Exhibit showcasing local artists. This afternoon local vendors received the chance to display their products on full display for event goers to purchase. It wouldn't be Coconut Festival without coconut based products. From Coconut Tarts, Coconut Water, based products and more. Other vendors received the opportunity to display handmade items, skincare products made out of local ingredients, and much more. This is my second year attending the festival and I couldn't have roamed the grounds without drinking the Coconut Water right out of the Coconut. Although we didn't receive the chance to cover all of the booths today, they've added a second day so we can check out whatever we missed today. Sunday 4, December, 2022 concludes the coconut festival, but also begins the season of festivities. This evening we attended the Fashion Show featuring local brands such as UpperClass OG, Couver, Laced Legacy, Purpl October, Agape,& Havitowah. We believe in supporting local not just by featuring them on the blog, but also by purchasing something from each pop up shop. Each one of the brands had their own unique style that represented their individuality. The live broadcast can be found on our Facebook Page Stx Entertainment Today.
