Crucian Coconut Festival 2021
The Crucian Coconut Festival is hosted by St. Croix Farmers in Action Inc, and began in 2016 with the intent on educating others of reigniting St. Croix's economy with the help of Coconuts. This event was held at the Bethlehem Sugar Factory across from the Virgin Islands National Guard Base. This year marked the 5th Annual Coconut Festival where several vendors showcased the different things their businesses has to offer. The family friendly event included horseback riding, music by a live band, a coconut jelly scooping competition, an art exhibit showcasing the different talents of St. Croix artists and photographers & more.

There were endless booths to visit on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, each with their own unique touch adding flare to their already amazing business. A pit stop was made to every booth, interviewing each owner on their unique brands. As you all know in 2020 we were faced with a major pandemic in which we're still adapting to currently. However in an attempt to get back to normal or adjust to the new normal events are held with a few Covid restrictions in place.

This was a well organized, fun filled event, and I for one enjoyed learning about the many others businesses we're sometimes unaware of.

If you missed the festivities this year, hopefully you can join in on the fun next year if God's willing.

I purchased a few things such as a coconut jelly to enjoy the refreshing water inside, a Coconut Festival tee, UpperClass Tee and received a free tote upon purchase, a beauty product courtesy of VibezNatural, a bottle of coquito which I've been longing for by Coquito By Karole. A Tye Dye Swim Suit, and a pineapple tart from Peachy's pantry along with a few complimentary items from other vendors.
