Authors Opinion: VI artists are not publicized enough

Searching through Google or You tube for Virgin Islands artists may not seem like it's a big thing. Why is that, we have to search and search until we come up to the near bottom to find our artists. Pushing to get our artist out there more can be done, but we can't do it alone. It has to be done as a team effort, many people may not get this but these artists work night and day to get their stuff out there. They can't get further without the help of their fans. Now don't take this the wrong way I know Pressure Buss pipe is a VI ambassador and we love him, but there are other artists that need recognition too. I felt embarrassed searching for these artists I may not know about to find that specific words has to be typed to find them. VI artists work their tails of, but what good is that if their isn't any recognition, if no one really knows who they are or what they do. St. Croix Entertainment is just one platform but we plan on doing what we can to make the world know about our little Virgin Islands. Let's make this change now, let's get more publicity. We need the world to see that we are small but powerful.
