Virgin Islands Reggae Artist King Lion DeFuture hit single "Everyday is a Shootout," is currently on repeat in Jamaica on Irie Fm & Sun City two of the biggest reggae stations in the world. The music video for the song is currently at #1 on the top 20 video countdown blacker also in Jamaica. As an up and coming reggae artist out of the Virgin Islands this is a major accomplishment to have his video featured in the #1 spot alongside some established artist in the music industry. In the Virgin Islands referred to as America's paradise the homicide rate is down by 6.42% as of 2020, however there are still violence and homicides that occur. There's still work to be done to lower the crime rate in our little piece of paradise.
