Virgin Islands/Women History Month

Every year during the month of March we celebrate the history, culture and contributions of the VI ancestors. They sacrificed and fought for many things that we sometimes take advantage of in these modern times. Nevertheless we're proud to celebrate and give recognition for the many sacrifices made. Women History Month is also celebrated in the month of March, and highlights all of the achievements women have made and continue to make on a daily basis. Women still face challenges that we're fighting against on a daily basis. Virgin Islanders are still working on a daily basis to continue the work of their ancestors.
