New Year, New Covid Variant (Omicron)Are We Okay?
We're just 8 days into a new year and another variant is upon us. 2022 already comes with alot of baggage. Omicron Variant is a Variant of SARS-COV-2. The newest variant was established in December of 2021. Cases have sky rocketed since it was first reported by W.H.O in November. Since then many Americans have been exposed to the virus. I'm not here explain the facts of the latest strain, everyone already knows the stats. During the first 5 days of quarantine, what's your mental health like? How are your employers feeling about your absence from work? Let's be honest for those of us who have experienced the virus first hand, do we really trust word from the CDC at this point? I started of the New Year by contracting Omicron. It doesn't matter how careful you are with this new strain, it'll creep on you like a monster in the night. My symptoms included Fatigue, Sore Throat, Body Aches, headache, congestion just to name a few. However everyone's symptoms aren't the same. Many employers are concerned with the number of employees who have been affected by the virus. In March will be the 2 year mark of when the virus first began, so many have been affected by Covid whether its through death, contracting the virus and recovering, or job loss. Even simply deciding to put yourself first by walking away from a job that's only financially beneficial. In the short time you're stuck on bed rest fighting against the virus, you're going to come across certain revelations.
Things you need to consider:
1. Your current job doesn't define you; Do what makes you happy, not just out of obligation.
2. Always put your health first, you're spending so much time trying to improve your life you don't take the time out to actually take care of yourself.
3. All of the negative things you thought that matters really doesn't, let it go.
4. Appreciate & Cherish your love ones.
5. Don't take life to seriously.
