WIBVICC: Pop-Up Shopping Festival Review

Earlier today the Women in Business VI/Caribbean Chapter hosted their very first Empow(HER) Pop Up Shopping Festival. There we were introduced to some well known businesses on island and even those we weren't as familiar with. We visit up to 17 or more booth at the agricultural fair grounds. Each booth offered insight on their products and just what they had to offer the community. It was very empowering to witness so many strong women being their own boss. The booths contained items such as local hand made jewelry, local pastries, local drinks, paintings, Transpersonal energy healing, insurance, local clothing brands, Med Evac air Ambulance, an embroidery company and so much more. Today was an incredible experience and as a woman in business myself I greatly appreciated the Women in Business Chapter for organizing something like this. The many owners of the businesses we interviewed today also appreciated the opportunity to have their businesses on full display for the public to see. Women History Month is coming to an end and what a better way to end the month then with a pop up shopping festival to empower women in business.
