Virgin Islands artist Papi Bandz was born in the Virgin Islands. He began rapping when he graduated high school. He has always had a love for hip hop, because growing up he witnessed his mother go through a great deal of things in her life. Those experiences gave him the motivation to dive into music. He took an oath to give his mom and siblings everything they want and deserved through music. He received his name Papi Bandz, because women mostly called him Papi and most of my friends called me Bandz due to his love of money. His first performance was in front of thousands of people in village with Rich the Kid. From there he got offered his first deal and he refused it because, if other big artists saw his worth and his talent he can be my own boss. Papi Bandz owns all of his masters and currently networks with big artists. They often give him advice on his writing and also his performance. He looks up to OT Genesis and Busta Rhymes. He's currently working on several projects with different artists and doing couple music videos. He often does snippets projects and post it on Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram always to receive feed back whether it's bad or good. Everything I rap I do I just feel you should not lie about stuff you never did in your rap just be your self and stay true to your self.
