Virtual Village Nights Recap: Calypsoca Night
The night most of us has been waiting for has finally arrived, Calypsoca Night is finally here. The evening began just like the others with the introduction of the evening by none other than Neka Neekes of RLD Entertainment & Promotions followed juggling sounds of Dj Supa Trakz. Up next was a performance by The legendary Vio International who opened up the show with a bang. The band gave us hits such as Restless, Tramp, Holler Holler, and so much more. All the way from Trinidad we received a performance by Nadia Batson, who graced us with her presence. We got hits like Blessing, So Long, Strangers, Catching Feelings, First Fete, & Sugar Daddy. This was followed by a brief intermission, then a mind blowing band took the stage. Big Band began with their introduction and was soon joined by Bugz Bugs who came to the stage at full swing. He performed classics such as Wuk Together, Head Top, Like it How I like it, & Back it up and that's just to name a few. Next to the stage was none other than Mr. VI to the Bone, Mic Love, and although his performance was cut short due to technical difficulties, he still managed to perform a few hits such as Me & You Alone, & VI to the Bone. Once the complications were taken care of it was time for Mr.Sexy Dance himself to hit the stage. Adam O, absolutely destroyed his performance in the best way possible of course. His performances included some of his greatest hits like, Wine & Dip, Closer, Sexy Dance, Problems, Chocolate, Fresh Bless, Warming up, & Properlay. An epic evening like this could only end one way and that's with a living legend. P.U.M.P.A, a.k.a Crazy Legs hit the stage full swing with his famous hits such as Aye Aye, Wifey Material, She Got the Juice, Girls just Wanna have Fun, R.I.P to the Club and even a tribute to the late Daddy Friday. Despite the circumstances following our current predicament, the Division of Festivals found a way to keep us entertained.
