King Lion DeFuture scores distribution deal with VP Records
It's the voice and versatility that makes this unique artist stand out from the rest. King Lion Defuture has proven his musical talents are unlimited. He has dabbled in just about every genre of music you can think of such as Soca, R&B, Dancehall and Reggae! His music career has been an off and on experience for over 10 years however, most recently he has been working overtime releasing numerous hits!
In 2019, he released the single MI AMOR featuring Kruziano. In 2020, he released MANGO featuring Internationally known artist Pressure Busspipe, I LIKE IT, RISE UP and EVERYDAY IS A SHOOT OUT (which made it to #1 on Jamaica's Blacka Top 20 video countdown). In 2021 the singles, BURN and the Re release of IT'S YOU, this time featuring the first Lady of Busspipe Records Malica, Singer/Writer who’s written songs like “Pon The Replay” by Rihanna was also released.
The public responded very well to all the new music that King Lion Defuture decided to drop a new single every month starting June of 2022. June- DRIPPING featuring multi platinum selling Iyaz, July- ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE, August- MURDA DEM featuring fellow Busspipe Records artist, Pediko aka Pound Boy, and most recent release this month, September, BUSS LIKE MY GUN.
It is very clear that King Lion Defuture can produce music for all to enjoy so with the help of his management team, he has decided to resurrect some of his old hits for the ride-or-die fans while introducing them to the new ones. His new catalog of music has gotten such positive feedback that King Lion Defuture and his team took a leap of faith and submitted his most recent release, BUSS LIKE MY GUN, to VP Records with the hopes of getting a deal. Shortly after the submission of the single, a contract for a singles distribution deal was offered and signed.
On September 23rd, 2022 the single, BUSS LIKE MY GUN, (produced by Jordan “Sheesh" Duverney) was released by Vpal Music. King Lion Defuture states, “This is my first major deal and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for me.” “I am super excited about this!”
