The Caribbean Music Awards: USVI Secures 4 Nominations

The Caribbean Music Awards which is set to take place at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York on August 29, 2024 released its nominees on May 6, 2024. Among those nominees were some of the United States Virgin Islands greatest acts. The Categories are as followed, Impact Award (Soca), in which P.U.M.P.A. received a nomination. The creator of A-List which is one of the biggest hits in Soca up to date. The Impact Award recognizes an individual or group that has made a significant impact on the music industry with their innovative approach, unique style, and groundbreaking contributions. This award celebrates artists who have broken through barriers, captivated audiences, and left a lasting impression on the music landscape. -Direct Quote- https://caribmusicawards.com/impact-award/. In the category of "Best New Artist (Soca)" we have none other than "Star Martin," who has been working continuously to create music we can all relate too. This artist has shown phenomenal movement and growth. -Direct Quote- They are on the verge of a breakthrough and exhibit the ability to produce chart-topping music. This award celebrates a rising star in the music industry, recognizing an individual or group that has made a significant impact with their debut or breakthrough performances, capturing the hearts and ears of fans with their versatility garnering the acceptance and approval of audiences worldwide. Papo Productions owned & operated by, Jahmal Dee has also walked away with a nomination for "Song of the Year (Soca Category) Producer. This is a very deserving nomination for the young producer as he's behind some of the biggest hits in Soca. Also Vying for "Song of the Year (Soca Category) Producer, The Caribbean's Hottest DJ " DJ Avalanche." This is a very big deal for the United States Virgin Islands to receive 4 nominations and it's well deserved amongst them. These 4 haven't eased up since the year has began and i don't think they intend to. Our very best to the nominees and we hope to secure wins on the day of the ceremony.
