Black History Month

Today begins Black History Month, a month dedicated to the men and women in the black community who've made an impact in the world. We're not often celebrated, were judged, were ridiculed, killed for the color of our skin, and discriminated against . We're worthy to be praised, this month we acknowledge those who have sacrificed for us to live as we do today. This month we pay homage to those who have sacrificed everything to make things easier for us. Black heroes such as Martin Luther King Jr, Madame C.J. Walker, Barack Obama, George Washington Carver, Kamilla Harris, Rosa Parks, Oprah Winfrey and many more have sacrificed everything so the black community could be proud and inspired to follow in their footsteps towards greatness.
